[🎙 ] Lena pulls out a stalk of poison ivy from her braid, waving it at Carter with a snarl. The plant she thought to be flowers has given her rather nasty rashes on the back of her neck.
[🎙 ] And all this right before the ceremony is due to start, too!
🌈. | Oh, geez. She found out about that sooner than Carter thought; but no matter, the deed was already done, and he was getting away with it - and Lena was getting away with a brand new rash to match her equally rash personality. He clears his throat, smiling contently and folding his hands in front of his legs."Oh, shit."

[🔱 ] Perseis was, for all means and purposes, absolutely horrified by this wedding. The amount of money that must’ve gone into the floral decorations and ice sculptures - why, that would’ve been enough to feed the homeless outside Scary Street for an entire year! But it’s not like the newlyweds cared, anyway. She honestly didn’t know why on earth she had rescued Lucian; he’d turned out worse than she’d ever imagined. And Magdalena wasn’t much better, either.
[🔱 ] Walking up to a familiar figure amongst the guests, she tucked a loose strand of dark hair behind her ear, her hands shaking in frustration and anger.
“Carter - Carter, we can’t possibly let this go on.”
“Why - why are they like this?”
🌈. | He did what he said he would, in the beginning; he showed up in a light white dress shirt, with a light blue suit jacket - and to accompany them? A subtle bowtie and shorts. The March air was a bit chilly as he pushed back runaway strands of hair in the wind, looking at Perseis with a neutral expression - not to direct any coldness towards her, but to rather seem... less suspicious. Magdalena already suspected him of doing something to sabotage the wedding day enough; he didn't need that strengthened."Well, because frankly - they're... kind of horrible people."

[🔱 ] She folded her arms, huffing through her nose. As a sign of respect for the occasion, she’d turned up in a light blue tunic and her circlet of pearls. But that didn’t diminish her feeling of disgust towards everything the sirens stood for.

[🔱 ] Pointing towards a large ice sculpture in the shape of a leaping dolphin, she squinted at it with a frown. Who on earth had planned all of this?
